Dataverse Integrates LI.FI’s Widget
TL;DR — Dataverse implemented the LI.FI widget!
Dataverse, a web3-native project specializing in data ownership, has integrated LI.FI’s widget into its dApp. Dataverse users can now perform any-2-any swaps across every chain supported by LI.FI with the click of a few buttons.
What is Dataverse?
Spearheaded by the data scientists at Ownership Labs, Dataverse is a pioneer in web3 information curation. Specifically, Dataverse is designed to act as a web3 “folder” system that allows users to take full ownership of their data (and privacy).
By simply installing the Dataverse plugin, users can begin to curate all of their metaverse assets and internet data into their Dataverse profile. And due to its usage of “decentralized identifiers,” each Dataverse profile is unique, tamper-resistant, and available across chains.
As of now, users can curate assets from major NFT platforms like Opensea, Rarible, SupeRare, Magic Eden, Treasureland, GEM, and more. The platform allows users to pull data from across 30 chains and has a plugin available on Google, Edge, Brave, and Firefox.
Dataverse unlocks the potential for web3 personalization. Here are a few use-cases:
Personal Museum — users can customize personal collections and publicly publish them.
Project Display Space — dApp and community builders can publish a web3 “business card” that highlights the different aspects of their brand (from NFTs to tokens to Twitter highlights).
Data Ownership — users can opt into web3 programs that pay retail users directly for the ability to use their search engine history.
Cross-Platform ID — the decentralized identity system built into Dataverse allows for a single presence to be taken across the metaverse.
What is the LI.FI Widget?
LI.FI is a cross-chain bridge aggregation protocol that supports any-2-any swaps by aggregating bridges and connecting them to DEXs and DEX aggregators. As of writing time, LI.FI supports 13 DEXs, 12 chains, and 9 bridges (with more to come soon) — all in a single user interface.
In a nutshell, LI.FI is like 1inch & Paraswap for bridges; we choose the best bridge to move funds from one chain to another. Additionally, since many bridges support a limited amount of tokens, we have DEXs on both sides of the bridges to swap before and after the bridge, thus facilitating any-2-any swaps across chains.
At its core, LI.FI can route any asset on any chain to the desired asset on the desired chain, thus providing a remarkable UX to users.
Notably, this ability to route assets across chains in one click can be built into DeFi protocols, such as Dataverse, via our widget. Our widget can be added to a website in five minutes and ensures that users always have access to the latest version of LI.FI. It is also configurable to fit certain use-cases and tokens.
It is this product, the LI.FI widget, Dataverse decided to build into their dApp.
LI.FI x Dataverse
The LI.FI widget has been integrated by Dataverse and is now available to use. You can check it out at this link.
We are thrilled that Dataverse chose LI.FI as its cross-chain aggregation solution. By integrating our widget, Dataverse can enable cross-chain any-2-any swaps directly inside their dApp — which, as the crypto ecosystem continues to expand to more chains, will be more and more important going forward.
Creating a seamless cross-chain user experience is what we do at LI.FI and we are excited to see Dataverse join the LI.FI family! We are excited to see who will integrate our SDK or widget next.
